I’ve been thinking about  the importance of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) recently.  I really never cared about it before. As long as the theme or the template is  good enough for the eyes then it’s fine. I am a lover of beautiful web designs. But as I seek for improvement and knowledge, I end up considering the importance of SEO. Design is something but it’s not everything. That’s what I realized. The quotation above from Mr. Hochstadt strike me and then open my eyes to the importance of SEO. With doors locked and windows covered, customers will just pass by no matter how good your store is.  The same thing goes for a site that is not visible in  search engines. SEO is indeed very helpful in this kind of  matter.

Another thing about SEO, it made me realize one thing about me being an internet user, I never realized this before. In searching online, I just go for the what Google gave me on the first page.  I’m pretty sure that others does the same.  Thus,  ranking in search engines is indeed something.
